I would like to share tips on how to maximize adsense earning on your proxy websites. As we all aware, adsense is still the most popular monetizing means on proxy website, where you put says 2 square adblocks above the fold and hope the visitors will click one of the ads shown. However there are at least 2 problems:

1. Since a home page of a proxy website is hardly contains any contents (most of the time, there is only one paragraph stating on how to use the service) it makes adsense script difficult to select relevant advertising units hence sometime it shows nothing.
2. Proxy industry is not a popular and capital intensive niche, so the margin of commission from adsense is not very promising.

So, what can we do to maximize the earning? There are ways, such as writing more contents / texts (I’ll cover it later in my next post) which related to high paying adsense ads, add another monetizing means such as eCPM advertising, re-organize your ad block placements, and many more.

In this article, I am going to cover about re-organizing your adblock. You see, what people look for in a proxy website? Yes, the URL bar where they can put the url to access their favourite websites such as social networking websites (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc), porn websites, and many other websites. Now what we can do is:

by putting 2 adsense links above and below the URL form.

Yes, you read it right, adsense links. I know you might think “who will click adsense link?” or “it’s in-effective, it takes 2 clicks to get paid” and so on, believe me it works. I would suggest you to use the channel provided in adsense so you can monitor their performance. You can keep your regular adblocks in their places. To get the best result, if you have some PHP knowledge, move the URL bar above the fold, hence user doesn’t have to scroll down, I am sure it’ll perform even better.
